Common questions
What’s the main difference vs Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.?
Here you can use encrypted libraries where only you have the key. We can’t read your files — and that’s kind of the whole point.
How does Zero Trust work here?
Built on “minimum necessary trust”: we run the platform — you control passwords, encrypted libraries and access.
Why don’t I see thumbnails inside encrypted folders?
Encrypted libraries can’t be interpreted by the server (it doesn’t have the key), so it can’t generate thumbnails. For sensitive content, encryption is recommended.
How do I maximize my security?
Use encrypted libraries for private data, use the password manager, create unique long passwords, and enable 2FA where possible.
Where is the server located?
The server is located in Sweden (EU). Storage runs on disks with backups. With encrypted libraries, no one but you can read the content.
Can I upgrade storage later?
Yes — you can expand or upgrade your quota anytime via Buy/Renew.
Am I locked into a subscription?
No. Purchases are one-time payments for 3 or 12 months. If you don’t renew, you return to the free tier.
